Yes they are (: I just googled them and found that the nose color isn't a coincidence (which I thought it is initially). How many of those animals did you see during your photo session?

Nature is amazing, I saw maybe around 20 of them. They are pretty scarce this year, probably because there hasn't been as much snow as normal. Hopefully they will be turning back to brown fur soon as they are sitting targets for golden eagles etc.

Oh no.. that makes me want to take them away from the brown spots and place them on the snowy white ones, where they are safer^^'

Yeah I know what you mean, hares never go underground like rabbits do either.

Thanks very much, was a real pleasure to see those wonderful animals. I hope their fur turns back to brown soon as there is not much snow this year, makes them a bit vulnerable atm.

Their noses are very nice :D They are in danger this year as not much snowfall, hopefully they will turn back to their brown colour soon.

Living up there is where they want to be, they won't really feel the cold much as their coats will be very cosy. It's the first time I've seen them and was really wonderful, amazing animals :)

There has been a lot less snow this year so it's not good for the hares, they only turn white in the winter to camouflage themselves. They should be back to brown coloured soon :)

Oh that is strange, I didnt know that they could change
colors. Learn something new all the time with you Craig
:aww: Thank you.

Yeah hares change colours in the winter, rabbits stay the same though. Supposedly a hairs newborn can survive on it's own after a few hours whereas a rabbit's is total helpless for a while. I read up about animals and birds I photograph, I'm no expert but am learning all the time. Thank you Hug
